The Mission

Today we begin to set our focus on the upcoming Christmas season. There is not a lot to say about Christ’s birth that has not been said before - - it is a pretty straightforward narrative that is full of meaning and that warms our hearts each year as we consider the “unspeakable gift” God has given us in His Son! As we begin to examine once again this story that is the centerpiece of the biblical narrative let’s seek to look at it, not as something we’ve heard before – but as it is, in fact, a wonderful expression of God’s love to a fallen humanity. “The Mission” will begin in I Peter 2:9.
