The Audacity of Faith

Hebrews 11 dispels the idea that faith is this elusive concept that is hard to define or otherwise explain! It is, in the minds of many, like trying to nail jell-o to the wall! But God had no problem telling us what it is. He defined it as “the external substance of internal hope; the evidence of what can otherwise not be seen!” Genuine saving faith, therefore, produces both substance and evidence in the life of the person who possesses it! One of the primary figures used to explain the nature of faith in Hebrews 11 is the man, Moses. We’ll talk about the expression of faith in his life this morning. “The Audacity of Faith” is taken from Hebrews 11:23-29.
