The Validation of Faith

It is an easy thing to profess faith in Christ. Over 25% of the world’s population makes the claim! In America 210 million of our 332 million population, claim to be Christian – that’s 63%! But even a casual consideration of the spiritual state of our nation would tell us that something is wrong with that claim! Ancient Israel had the same issue – professing a faith in the Lord with their mouth – while their heart drifted further and further from Him. Is our faith in Christ more than just talk? Does the substance of our life bear witness to its validity? That is the subject we will address today. Growing in Faith is the theme of the messages for August. “The Validation of Faith” is taken from James 2:14-26.
