This mission of Christ in condescending to earth and paying our penalty of sin through His death, burial, and resurrection – was to gather to Himself a people who would be His “chosen generation, holy nation, peculiar people, and royal priesthood”. Those are very high expectations! How are we supposed to go about meeting them? Throughout the Bible the Lord gives us instruction on that assignment. Today we will look at one of these passages.
