A Promise for the New Year

From the very beginning of time, God’s people have been a people of promise. From its opening pages, the Bible sets forth promises made by God to His people. (Genesis 3:15). That first promise, made before God expelled man from the Garden of Eden, was followed by literally thousands of others that are designed to comfort and assure His people of His love and watch care over them. On this last Sunday of 2024 it will be good for us to be reminded of the Lord’s unfailing care for us. “A Promise for the New Year” is taken from Isaiah 43:1-11.
