When God Drew Near

The Bible is the chronicle of redemption, laying out for us, in its 66 books and 1,189 chapters, the reason and means by which God presents it to us.

He builds a foundation for our understanding in the Old Testament – accomplishes the necessary work in the Gospels; explains its effect in an individual life in the epistles; and tells of its conclusion in Revelation. God has always sought a relationship with people. Sin has marred that possibility. Christ has remedied that condition through His work. Throughout the Christmas season we will consider God’s remedy through Christ in a brief series entitled “When God Drew Near”. We will begin this series today. “In the Fulness of Time” is taken from Galatians 4:4-7.
