To me, there is not a much better “Christmas verse” than the one we will be looking at this morning. In a single verse, made up of only 30 words, it captures the essence of the advent of Christ. Few other miracles in the Bible compare in magnificence to Christ’s birth and earthly ministry – prompting the Apostle Paul to declare in II Corinthians 9:15: “Thanks be unto God for His unspeakable gift.” The message for this Christmas Sunday is entitled “The Word Made Flesh” and is taken from John 1:14.
