The Possession of Christ

Last week we talked about “The Pursuit of Christ” in our life – which is summed up in His invitation to “Follow Me”. Everything else in our pilgrimage on this earth flows from our submission to that command. Continuing our consideration of “Jesus Over His Church”, we’re going to look at the Church as “The Possession of Christ”. We are told in I Corinthians 6:19-20 that we (the redeemed) “are not your own”, for “you are bought with a price”. We will spend some time today looking at Christ as our Possessor. A very solemn consideration! “The Possession of Christ” is taken from Philippians 3:7-14.
