The Wonder of God's Redemptive Purposes

Periodically in Scripture the Lord pulls back the curtain and allows us to peer briefly into the hidden counsels of God. Those passages only deepen our wonder of His wisdom and the riches of His love and grace. We see this in Genesis 1:26 as we are allowed to sit in on the planning of man’s creation; we see it again in Genesis 18:16-19 prior to the destruction of Sodom; and in Isaiah 6:1-13 at the call of Isaiah. These glimpses into the divine counsel stir in believers a sense of awe and wonder at the mystery of His holiness – jus-tice and redemptive objectives in His dealings with mankind. We’ll see that once again in our message today. “The Wonder of God’s Redemptive Purposes” is taken from Romans 9:6-33.
