Faith's Pursuit

Have you ever wondered why God saves us – and then leaves us on this earth, sometimes for several decades? Wouldn’t it be better to just take us on to heaven and be done with it, instead of leaving us here to languish in an atmosphere of sin and death? What’s the point? It has been said many times before, but the primary aim in salvation is not merely to enable us to make it to heaven, but to make us like Christ! Salvation is a Divine recovery project! In the original creation – we were made in the image of God. In our recreation (salvation) – we are form- ed into the image of Christ! That process is the subject of today’s message. “Faith’s Pursuit” is taken from Philippians 2:12-14.
