Beware the Joy Robbers

Today I want to finish up our consideration of “The Joy of the Lord” by looking at some things the enemy will use to diminish the effect of that joy in our lives.
Our understanding of who we are, what we are, and what we have been provided in Christ is essential to the maintenance and fullness of our joy as a believer. That understanding comes by means of the Spirit and God’s Word.
The enemy of our soul takes ordinary things and weaponizes them in our life to steal away this joy that is our divine birthright as followers of Christ.
We’ll talk about some of those in the message today. “Beware the Joy Robbers” will begin in Philippians 1:12-21.
